ReplyDeleteGTX series graphics card are far better than GT,GTS graphics card.Hence go for GTX550 graphics card,i recommend you go for intel i7 3.4 GHz combined with GTX graphics card because as per my experience with AMD bulldozer processors(4,8 core processors),In initial days, you wont face any problem,but as time passes by,It gets overheated quickly and you should install a cooler which is a big headache,Final verdict-> go for GTX combined with intel, due to no overheating problem and high reliablity!!!

Remember one thing,graphics card memory doesn't have any significance in game play only Memory interface,CUDA cores,GPU clock speed play key role in delivering ultimate game play with mindblowing graphics.
i recommend you to just change the graphics card to GTX400 or GTX500 series to stay on safe side and enjoy ultimate gameplay till next 3 years.

I was originally going to go for a HD6670, but i wasn't sure if it would really be backwards compatible with my Asus P5k motherboard, so i thought i'd go with an Nvidia card, which have guaranteed backwards-compatibility.
Which card do you recommend?

DeleteThanks, i did a bit more research after i ordered the card, and realized what a mistake i'd made (looked at some benchmarks and saw how low the 630 rated), so i asked around on the forums of the site i bought the card from (overclockers.co.uk), and they said go for a GTX 660 Ti 2GB DDR5 (1344 CUDA cores), i'd go for the 690, but at it's current price, it's just too expensive.

Dude i recommend you go for GT520 as it is only graphics card available in price tag of less then 60$ but it won't play high end games smoothly,and coming to GT440|GT240,these are 96 CUDA core graphics card which are available in market at above 100$!!!

ReplyDelete1. For a fanless enthusiast upgrading to this card, how loud is the onboard fan compared to all those loud ones out there or perhaps how loud on full load and how quiet on a regular bootup after a long cool night.
2.Do WINDOWS7 x64 drivers need Service Pack 1 or can you still load drivers with no Windows Update at all. My recent card has drivers notorious for needing SP1 installed or else you can't install the drivers(catalyst control). THis is important because my setup has never been too good installing SP1 and i could live without it.

As per my knowledge,you shouldn't have any problem while installing on Windows 7 but as you h've mentioned your's is a 64 bit Operating system,You should try installing Windows 7 64 bit graphics Drivers which are available on Nvidia website.

cool! The noise really depends if you have any other fans installed. I literally have one fan going and thats the Power Supply. I have a giant Noctua NH-D14 attached to the cpu and thats barely noticeable.

From an Expert gamer point of view,Here's my answer:
GT 630 is medium level graphics card that too supports till 1440 * 900 resolution monitors(for smoother gameplay), as you want to run it on 32" screen ,i doubt it may not support games for such huge resolution and you may face some connectivity issues with cord while connecting and configuring with your plasma.
i advice you to go for 15" monitor(for gt630 card),for perfect gameplay with little lags (that too for new releases)
Rest apart with your configuration,Eveything is absolutely perfect!!!

DeleteHope you're doing good.Now come to answer your query,you won't face any problem and i can assure you that as long as you won't overclock your graphics card.
The reason for assurance is Even i have a pc with motherboard consisting DDR2 memory slot and a PCI express slot.I installed same card on it and till date didn't faced any issue.Just you need be careful with whether your motherboard has a PCI slot for graphics card and minimum power supply requirement.
It's just a tactic of salesman to create a tense environment in you and make you buy a brand new motherboard from him!

Yup, It is absolutely perfect for latest games.No need to worry,you won't find any lags when playing all high end games in low to medium settings. You may face lags when playing games in High settings.I recommend you remove texture and shadows related settings in game.

DeleteThe sapphire amd hd 6570 has 480 cores with ddr3 memory (it is not the GDDR5 memory type) but the clocking is 650MHz, and the clocking of zotac gt 630 is 810MHz but with only 96 cores. Also, I was thinking that clocking can be increased but cores can not be. The gt630 supports openGL v4.2 and hd 6570 supports v4.1, does it make any difference in gaming cause I am a regular gamer. The warranty period of gt630 is two years more than hd6570. So, please help me one more time to finalize my decision. Both these cards are on flipkart.com.

2)It's a good combination available (Asus motherboard + Intel processor), you can blindly go for it.
3)Yes, you have to include|buy RAM and it means that it supports 16GB of RAM, and RAM would not be included with combo.
4)Go for Microsoft 500 Keyboard and Mouse, if you requires
They are many brands available when considering RAMs.Rest everything is fine with your configuration.

i bought zotac gt 630 2 gb recently, the games are playing fine but the movies or videos which are available in my pc are playing with little blurred. the video clarity was far better without the graphics card but after using the card it has been degraded. what will be the possible cause, please help.

I recommend you to go for Nvidia GT Geforce 640 graphics card or GTX 650 if you can afford for more (50$) and I can say without any doubt it would stand as a future proof card for easily more than 3 years.
